The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends among the top food delivery service apps on the Android platform in Greece. Here’s a breakdown of the performance of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

efood delivery demonstrated a varied trend in its weekly downloads, starting at around 10K in late June and experiencing fluctuations throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 12K in mid-September. Weekly active users for the app started at nearly 139K and saw a dip to about 96K in early August, but recovered significantly, reaching around 151K in mid-September.

BOX saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 7.5K in late June and surging to approximately 15.8K by mid-September. The app's weekly active users also grew, beginning at about 65K and achieving a peak of around 77K in mid-September.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 6.4K in late June and reaching up to approximately 9.2K by mid-September. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, beginning at nearly 59K and peaking at around 69K in mid-September.

InstaShop: Grocery Delivery showed a more moderate trend in its weekly downloads, starting at around 655 in late June and seeing fluctuations, with a peak of approximately 2.4K in mid-September. Active users started at about 1.6K and increased to around 4.5K by mid-September.

Rocket－Food Delivery saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, beginning at around 128 in late June and climbing to approximately 2.6K by mid-September. The weekly active users reflected this growth, starting at about 144 and increasing to around 3.2K by mid-September.
